Update: Since Viktor was extradited to New York, he can no longer receive letters here in Thailand. His wife and family have also moved back to Russia. However, there is ongoing litigation in Thailand involving Viktor Bout, and this is being handled by his lawyer Khun Lak. We are in touch with Khun Lak occasionally, and will be able to deliver any messages which are emailed to us at the following address:

In the past, the Viktor Bout Dot Net team facilitated the delivery of letters for Viktor Bout through its email address dedicated for Viktor. He did not have access to Internet whilst in jail, so all emails were printed out and delivered in physical form.

Old: For those who may try to write to Viktor directly, please be aware that he has recently been moved from the Klong Prem Remand Center in Bangkok to the Bang Kwang Prison in Bangkok. If you read about the prison being in Nontaburi, that is because Nontaburi is a suburb of Bangkok proper, although it can be considered to be in the Bangkok metro area, and is a short drive from downtown Bangkok.

Note: Letters will be submitted through normal, open, and legal channels already established for submitting documents to prisoners, in accordance with all existing Thai and American laws covering the subject.

Neither Viktor Bout Dot Net nor its directors, writers, or researchers will interfere with the legal proceedings taking place in the Thai or American courts.
